    Roof panels

I use these on the seams of my metal roof panels. I originally used it to seal the seams before applying the Blue Max and Maximum Stretch but found that it also helps hold the panels in place! Its very adhesive!

    Wonderful product

Posted by Bob B. on 2nd Jun 2017

I have a concrete deck that also serves as a roof for a 2 car garage. At some point a previous owner jacked the deck up to install I beams but now water puddles. There is no slope on the deck either. Cracks have formed which serve as control joints now. The previous owner tried everything to seal the cracks by using concrete crack filler with layers of tar on top. So I bought this mess. Anyhow, I eventually want to install a rubber membrane roof but due to costs of everything else it may be a couple years. So I needed something not asphalt base that would weaken the future rubber roof but also permanently deal with these cracks and stop all the drips below. I chiseled off old layers of tar and applied 2 coats of super primer then started taping. The stuff is ridiculously sticky. It's even better than the asphalt based seam tape used around windows and doors. My only concern now is getting a top coat on it. I was hoping to leave the tape like it is but my poor kids will end up like a mouse on a glue trap. I gave it 4 stars just because all the steps and different products that have to be used. I wish it had a UV resistant cover on it already so I wouldn't have to put another product on the top. So back to Ace Hardware for another special order. Wonderful product. Nothing like it out there.
