SPECIFICATIONS AND SUGGESTIONS

Read all label instructions before beginning. Always run a test patch first in an inconspicuous area, to ensure that proper adhesion and drying occurs and the product works to your satisfaction. These are only suggested specifications.

Waterproofing Metal Roofs, RV's and Mobile Homes

Metal Roofing, Mobile Homes & RVs

(1) Remove loose dirt, flaking rust, and debris from the roof surface: refasten any screws or nails that may have worked loose.

(2) Prime with 1-2 coats of Iron Coat until roof surface is smooth and sealed. Super Elasto-Barrier or Super Primer may also be used. Apply seam tape over all seams and brush a liberal coat of Iron Coat over J-strips and screws

(3) Top coat with 1-3 coats of Iron Coat, or as needed to complete application.
